It is wonderful to announce that the new Chaplain, Rev. Canon Dr. Arun John, will be arriving in Ankara at the beginning of November.

Rev. Arun was born and brought up in North India in Jodhpur in Rajasthan. He is married to Bina and they have two sons and 4 grandchildren.

He was ordained in the church of North India in the Diocese of Delhi in 1977, and worked in various roles serving the church there for over 16 years . From 1996 to 2004 he worked in the the Southern Province of the Anglican Church in South Africa in the Diocese of Christ the King in Johannesburg.

In 2004 he moved to England and worked as a Team Vicar in Bradford, Area Dean in Blackburn, and latterly as Team Rector in Rothwell, near Leeds. 

Rev. Arun's first Eucharistic service will be on 6th November and all who wish to attend should register by email  ( [email protected] ) by Wednesday 2nd November.
