Every 6 years all chaplaincies are required to completely renew their Electoral Roll. The electoral roll is the Chaplaincy's register of electors, the people who can vote at the Annual General Meeting and stand for election to the Chaplaincy Council. It includes members of the congregations at Salinas and Velez-Malaga as well as St George's.Following the new Church Representation Rules, names no longer need to be removed from the Roll during the course of the year; this only happens at the annual revision. And names can continue to be added to the Electoral Roll during the year. But every sixth year we clear the whole Roll out and start again, which means that everyone has to come off it and re-apply. This is happening in 2025.So everyone wishing to be on the Electoral Roll will be asked to fill out an Electoral Roll form, even if you have been on the roll before. You can download a copy of the form here. Alternatively to request a copy, or ask any questions, please contact the Chaplaincy Electoral Roll Officer, Judith Kramer at St George's Church (contact details from your Chaplain). Please note: this year's Annual General Meeting at St George's Church will be 25th May. This means that the final date on which you can register for the new Electoral Roll is Sunday 4th May.
