Our usual Sung Eucharist but with the Blessing of Palm Crosses and Procession of Palms.

This year we will meet by the cafe in La Sortija Park, next to the church, and then process to the church.

Sung Eucharist on the day Our Lord and his disciples had their last supper before His death, and during which he washed their feet, as "the Servant King".

At the end of the service the church is stripped of all ornaments, to symbolise the humiliation and barrenness of the cross

A traditional quiet, contemplative service for Good Friday, with hymns, bible readings and reflections on the Seven Last Words of our Lord.

It is quite all right to come for only part of the service, but please try to enter or leave quietly.

The service begins in the dark, with the lighting of the new fire, and then as daylight comes, symbolising the Light of Christ in the world. The Paschal Candle is blessed, and carried in procession, and during the service we all renew our Baptismal vows. A truly joyful way to celebrate Christ's Resurrection!

The service will be followed by Buck's Fizz and Bacon Sandwiches in the Parsonage!
