About Us

WHO ARE WE?

A small, active group of English-speaking Christians. Most of us are Anglicans (Church of England) though others come from the Roman Catholic or Free Church traditions. We are part of the Anglican Diocese of Europe and one of the three congregations that make up the Chaplaincy of St George, Málaga - the others being in Vélez-Málaga, and in Málaga itself. Further details of the Chaplaincy can be found here.

WHERE ARE WE?

We come from a wide area in the olive country of Andalucia, southern Spain. Some of us live in the very north of Málaga province and others are based in the southern corner of Córdoba province. Some even commute from Granada or beyond. Occasional visitors, or people with holiday homes in the area, join us when they can. Main centres of population include Antequera, Fuente del Conde, Iznájar, La Parrilla, Loja, Mollina, Rute, and the 'Villanuevas': Algaidas, Rosario, Tapia and Trabuco.

WHEN DO WE WORSHIP?

We meet at 11.30am on the second and fourth Saturday of every month. We come to worship God, to pray for the world and each other, and to raise money to help people less fortunate than ourselves. After the service we usually go to a local bar for a coffee or something stronger.
