The third annual "Summer Institute" for CofE clergy and laity, run by the Moscow Patriarchate's Department for External Church Relations (DECR) and the Ss Cyril and Methodius School of Post-Graduate Studies, took place from 17th to 26th September. 

This year's group, led by Bishop Jonathan Goodall, started their trip in St Petersburg, visiting the Theological Academy where they learned about the modern martyrs and had tea with the Rector (see photo). 

After St Petersburg, they moved on to Valaam Monastery for several days before heading down to Moscow to stay at the Danilovsky Monastery and, at the end of their trip, visit St Andrew's Anglican Church for an evening service at which Bishop Goodall presided and Canon Hugh Wybrew preached.
