Welcome to the Anglican congregation in Stavanger. We are a lively congregation from many countries and cultures. We worship at 10.30 each Sunday, usually at St Petri Church, the “red church “ in the centre of Stavanger (Nytorget 2, 4013 Stavanger). We are part of the Anglican Chaplaincy in Norway; we also have close connections with the Church of Norway under the Porvoo Agreement as well as with other English-speaking churches locally. Annually, we hold a Good Friday service and a 9 Lessons & Carol service, usually in Stavanger Cathedral or Domkirke. We also regularly collaborate with the other local English-speaking churches to provide a week-long Vacation Bible School programme for children during the summer.
