On every fifth Sunday of the month the choir robe for a Choral Evensong. Its a service that dates back to the early twentieth century and offers composed responses, canticles (the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis), an anthem and a sung hymn. There is also a congregational hymn. For those attending, it is relatively passive to allow for quiet contemplation.
