MAUNDY THURSDAY

Occuring
for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
St Philip's The Apostle
Address
St Philip's The Apostle, Coombe Road (off Wells Park Road), SE26 6QW, United Kingdom

We join with our friends at St Philip's Church, Coombe Road, for our Maundy Thursday Eucharist.

The Gospel speaks of love and service, which are expressed as we recall and follow the example of Jesus washing the disciples feet. The institution of the Eucharist is remembered. The evening setting highlights the nearness of Jesus’ betrayal and passion.
