STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN - how did we do?

STEWARDSHIP CAMPAIGN - HOW DID WE DO??

Led by Adrian Grainge on behalf of the Chaplaincy Council, during September we have been encouraged to think about our giving as a response to the generosity and goodness of God. Last Sunday was our Pledge Sunday, when we invited people to commit to increasing their giving to enable the mission and ministry of the Chaplaincy to move forward. How did we do?

The primary aim was to increase regular giving: pledges so far will raise our regular giving by €7,200 per year. Thank you!

The secondary aim was to start to rebuild reserves by one-off gifts: pledges so far will add €4,325 to our funds. Thank you!

Pledges and responses are still being received, so if you have not yet responded to the appeal, Adrian Feather our Treasurer hopes to hear from you soon.

Looking at the response in total, we currently expect the Chaplaincy to receive an extra €11,500 in the coming 12 months - going a long way to improve our finances and helping us on the way towards achieving the aims agreed by the Chaplaincy Council.

Thank you, everybody, for your contributions to our first Chaplaincy Stewardship Campaign.
