Anglican congregation in Limeuil, Dordogne
Welcome to Ste Catherine's Limeuil, at the top of the hill! Located in Upper Limeuil (Limeuil Haut) just north of the confluence of the Vézère and the Dordogne rivers, between Sarlat and Bergerac.
All are welcome - Our members are drawn from the east and central Dordogne. The congregation has been meeting since 1987 in Limeuil, formerly at the Chapelle St Martin, and for the last 17 years at the Church of Ste Catherine in Limeuil Haut.
Church of England forms of worship are used for all services, which are in English. Congregations of around 30 are usual throughout the year, growing much larger for major festivals.
The Chaplaincy of Aquitaine is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Chaplaincy and Local Safeguarding Officers. The Diocese of Europe’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our Chaplaincy and Local Officers. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and the Chaplaincy Safeguarding Officer, Dave Wybrow ([email protected]).
Parking: We aim to provide a shuttle service for all-comers from the School on the main Limeuil-Le Bugue road. If you find yourselves waiting, please text +33 7 66 53 18 33 to make sure we don't miss picking you up. There is also a parking area and some road-side spaces available on the La Route des Crêtes, the other side of the arch at the top of the village and a short walk from the church - check the Limeuil section of the Chaplaincy website for directions from the main road.
