About Us
St Michael’s Anglican Church is located in Beaulieu-sur-Mer in the South of France, halfway between Nice and Monaco. We serve the area between Nice and Monaco; Villefranche, St. Jean – Cap Ferrat, Beaulieu, Eze and Cap d’Ail.
We are a relatively small community representing people of every age and of a wide variety of nationalities – including English, Welsh, Scottish, Irish, American, Canadian, Australian, German, Dutch, Norwegian and Icelandic.
Our congregation includes Lutherans, Presbyterians and Roman Catholics, many of whom play a leading role in our activities. We have excellent relations with the town council and with the French Catholic parish and our church is also used by the Danish Lutheran community on the Cote d’Azur. The Chaplaincy of St Michael’s is funded entirely by it’s congregation and by well-wishers.
