About Us
Welcome to the Anglican Church in Sofia
“All Are Welcome. All Are Loved!”
We are a vibrant and diverse community of believers, led by a lay minister, who come together to worship, grow, and connect. Our congregation includes people from various denominations, countries, and cultures, united by a shared faith in Jesus Christ.
Our church is rooted in the Anglican tradition and guided by Jesus’ teaching to “Love your neighbour as yourself” (Matthew 22:39). Whether you are visiting Sofia, looking for a church home, or exploring faith for the first time, we warmly invite you to join us.
What to ExpectOur regular services occur every Sunday (from 3 November 2024), running from 10:00 am to 11:15 am. Doors open at 9:30 am, and you are welcome to enjoy filter coffee and tea before and after the service.
We follow a traditional Anglican liturgy, including hymns, creeds, prayers, and a sermon. Holy Communion is offered as an integral part of our worship to all who wish to partake.
After the service, we gather for fellowship over coffee and tea in the church lounge. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people, build connections, and deepen relationships.
Our LocationWe worship in the beautiful Catholic Chapel of the Annunciation, located at Oborishte 5, Sofia, adjacent to The Doctor’s Garden.

We strive to be a beacon of unity and love in a world that often feels divided. Whether you are a long-time believer or just beginning to explore faith, our community is here to support and encourage you. Read more about What We Believe here.
