They are the offering of tea, coffee, cake and occasionally a meal, such as a monthly community lunch. This ensures that there is always a moment for reflection and mutual conversation after the service.

The core of the Good Friday liturgy is the reading of the Passion Narrative, which covers the events from Jesus’ arrest in the garden of Gethsemane to his trial before Pontius Pilate to his crucifixion and death
The Watoto Children's Choir is a group of African children's choirs based in Kampala, Uganda, at the Watoto Church. They tour internationally. Each choir consists of approximately eighteen to twenty-two children from Uganda. Their tours raise both money and awareness for the Watoto orphanages in Kampala.
The World Day of Prayer is an international ecumenical Christian laywomen's initiative held in 2025 at the Hazegraskerk Ostend. It's run under the motto "Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action" and is celebrated annually in over 170 countries on the first Friday in March. The movement aims to bring together women of various races, cultures and traditions in a yearly common Day of Prayer, as well as in closer fellowship, understanding and action throughout the year.
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Season of Lent, a time of spiritual warfare, of fasting, penitence, and preparation for the Easter feast. Beginning in the tenth century ashes were imposed on this day upon penitent sinners in preparation for their restoration to full communion with the Church. Ashes are imposed on the forehead of each person, including the leader. Members of a household may impose ashes on one another. Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.
The season of Lent lasts for forty days (not including Sundays). It is a time when Christians reflect and prepare for the celebrations of Easter. Some people fast, eat frugally or give up treats following the example of Jesus, who fasted for forty days in the wilderness.
