Otterburn: St John the Evangelist

St John's is open every day from about 9am - 5pm. All are very welcome to visit the church and to spend time in prayer and meditation.  From summer 2024 our church services are on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. We are particularly pleased when people choose to use St John's for their marriage service or to bring children for baptism.  Look out on our Facebook page Redesdale Churches for up to date information, as well as the updates here.

Safeguarding

The parish of Otterburn: St John the Evangelist is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s) PSOs, namely Dr Andrew Brittlebank. If you have any concerns please contact Dr Brittlebank on 07740 224324 or email him at [email protected].
The Diocese of Newcastle’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
