About Us

St Matthew's is part of the Tolworth Hook and Surbiton Team Ministry.  It is a broad church providing accessible worship for a range of ages and traditions.

Basically of an open evangelical style, we are committed to mission and engaging with our local community.  Our main services (usually at 9.15 and 11am) reflect the church's strengths in our strong choral tradition at 9.15 and our children's work and commitment to young families at the 11am service.  The church seeks to welcome and nurture all who come through our doors.  Ministry is shared among lay and ordained members, building on individuals' gifts and talents and acting together as the body of Christ.
