The Surbiton branch of the Mothers' Union are holding a coffee morning on Wednesday 18th August at St Mark's Church from 10am - 11:30am. Join them for coffee and tea and a chance to find out more about the Summer of Hope campaign.2021 marks the 145th anniversary of Mothers’ Union, brought to life by Mary Sumner’s vision of women supporting families and communities. This summer, the Mothers' Union also mark 100 years since she died after a truly remarkable and inspiring life. Her vision was a world where women’s voices were heard, and their own rights recognised. Each Friday from 10:15- 11:45am you can get a superb cup of coffee or tea, delicious cake and good chat at St Andrew’s Church Glass room. And…. you will be raising money for a charity. All donations go to the charity of the month which for August is two, KCAH (Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness) and Oxygen Youth charity, two wonderful local charities.Everyone welcome!
As part of the MU Summer of Hope, the MU hosting a Cream Tea on Wed 21<sup>st</sup> July. ALL are invited: you don’t need to be a member of the Mothers Union! We would like, though, to encourage donations of £5 towards the Summer of Hope campaign. This will be at 4.30pm on Wed 21<sup>st</sup>: there will be a cup of tea and a slice of cake.
