On November 2nd or the nearest Sunday to it anyone who wants to remember someone they love who has died can come to a special service to light a candle and say special prayers. This is often known as ‘All Souls’. On Sunday 31st October St Andrew and St Mark will be having a service of remembrance for those who we have loved and has died at St Andrew's Church at 6pm.
The series starts this Saturday 16th October with a Coffee concert at 10:30am showcasing local young talent with Tiffin School performing. No need to book, just turn up.And do come along at 7:30pm for the first evening concert when the Behn Quartet will be performing. Behn String Quartet: Laura Lunansky and Alicia Berendse (violin), Ana Teresa de Braga e Alves (viola), and Ghislaine McMullin (violoncello). The Behn Quartet is formed of players from England, Portugal, and the Netherlands. Winners of the 2017 Orlando International Chamber Music Competition, they are currently an Associate Ensemble at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, and previously held the CAVATINA Chamber Music Fellowship at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
