We’ve normally marked St Andrew’s Day with a shared meal at St Andrew’s in the context of a eucharist, and made contributions to the Fircroft Trust. We can’t really do that, but we want to continue to support this fantastic local charity, that supports adults with learning difficulties. So we are holding an online Whisky tasting evening. What you will get: three mini bottles with three different whiskies, cheese and crackers and talk through the three different whiskies. Please make donations through our online giving donations website page for the event which will go to the Fircroft Trust. We aim to raise £550 for the Fircroft Trust,Sign up for the event through contacting Clare on sasms@btinternet.com.
This is a time when official items such as the presentation of the parish accounts , the electing of Church Wardens and members of our PCC are carried out.It is also at this meeting we review and reflect on what has happened in the parish during the previous year. We will be looking at 2019 which does seem a long time ago, but this is due to Covid delaying the meeting which should have taken place in April earlier this year.It is also an opportunity for the parish to hear what plans there are for the parish going forward. If you'd like to join the meeting via Zoom please contact the parish office sasms@btinternet.com for online codes.
