We are a community of people who believe that all we are, say and do should reflect and bring God’s love, care, compassion and concern to our world. This means that we are committed being open to change and growth so that we remain relevant and real to the communities we serve. Through this willingness to be a dynamic body we are striving to build a firm foundation from which to grow God’s Kingdom through worship, prayer, teaching, fellowship and service. So, we invite anybody and everybody to join us as we journey with God; whether you have never been to church before or have been going for years, whether you are a family or by yourself, whether you are currently struggling, walking, or dancing through life, we hope that you will find St John’s is for you.
Support our ministry and mission
The parish of Windlesham is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Guildford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority children or adults social care services.
