The Church in Westcott is a growing church, vibrant in prayer, worship, social activities and ministry. We aim to provide for all ages and traditions. We enjoy normal Sunday attendance of c.100 with activities every week for children and twice a month for young people.

We are known for the warmth of our church community, really ‘Building Friendships’ and ‘Sharing Life’ together and into the village of Westcott and beyond. At the heart of all of our ministry and mission is to celebrate and know the God who loves us, through Jesus Christ, in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

Westcott has been served by its two churches since the mid-nineteenth century: Holy Trinity is the Church of England ‘parish church’; St John’s, which has a free church tradition, is now owned by Holy Trinity and is used for social/community activities as well as occasional worship and private hire.

We always seek to look beyond our own concerns to the wider world. We have strong links with mission agencies and have become an ‘Eco Church’.

The village of Westcott, lying in an area of outstanding natural beauty, is a friendly, welcoming community. Church and village work hard together to encourage a sense of belonging.
