THIS GROUP IS NOT CURRENTLY MEETING
For 5-11 year olds. Held in the Holy Redeemer Parish Hall on Churchmore Road, next to the Vicarage. From 6pm to 7pm.
Term time only
aLIVE is the midweek youth group for 11-17s (School Years 7 – 12). Anyone is welcome whatever you believe so long as you’re prepared to listen. Games and activities, refreshments and food for though with a 'thought for the day' from the Bible. Club night fortnightly with table tennis, badminton, board games, darts, and switch.
aLIVE meets in the Parish Hall on Churchmore Road on Fridays during school term-time, 7:00 – 8:15pm. An adult needs to register a child the first time they come along.
The group doesn't meet on the first or last Friday of each term.
Songs, bible talk, prayers, readings for all ages and Sunday REDs (Sunday school) each week during the service.
1st Sunday includes Communion
Held on Monday's during school term time, it caters for 0-4 year olds. The session is from 9:30 am to 11:30am and is held in the Holy Redeemer church hall on Churchmore Road, next to the Vicarage. A good variety of play activities, craft, and singing time alongside refreshments. £1 donation per family per session.
Term time only
The club is for senior people and those who stay at home during the day. The group begins with a Bible talk and discussion at 12.30pm. This is followed by an hour’s exercise class, 1-2pm (cost £3.00). Everybody is welcome to come to one or both parts of the session. Simply come to the side entrance of the hall.
Sometimes closed during school holidays
Prayer and bible study groups held in member's homes or at the Vestry. The aim is for people to grow in their love for God and for each other through studying his Word. Groups run from 8pm to 9:30pm.
There is normally a break in home groups around at Easter, Christmas and the Summer holidays
A Coffee morning for local residents, every Thursday in the Vestry to the right of the vicarage.
Holy Communion takes place: at every 9am service in the Vestry
and during our 10.45 service every first Sunday of the month.
3rd Sunday at the 10.45 service
Every third Sunday of the month we have a fantastic all age service. All welcome
