About Us
Situated between Weybridge and Walton-on-Thames, St Mary Oatlands is an Anglican Church
in the Diocese of Guildford. It is the focus for people who come together to worship God
and to discover more about how their faith can relate to their everyday lives.
Some have been Christians for years; others are in the early stages of exploring their faith. Whoever you are, whatever your beliefs, we thank you for checking us out.
Though our main service is at 10am every Sunday, we also meet at 8am on Sundays and 10.30am every Thursday. Our style of worship varies from Sunday to Sunday. On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays, the 10am service is a traditional Sung Communion. The 1st Sunday service is an Informal All Age Service, Alive @10. In all our services, there is provision for children and young people. And there is refreshment after every service.
As a church, we seek to make worshipping as a family an integral part of our community. For this reason, in addition to all other services and activities, we also have a Family Praise service every last Sunday of the month at 4pm and two todller groups on Tuesdays and Friday AM during school term times.
There is a lot going on for young people as well as our "experienced" members. We have Meeting Point and Not Just Sunday amongst other activities catering for our not so young members. Please check our parish calender for details of all activities and services.
As the Parish Church, we would be glad to conduct the Marraige Service of any one with the necessary Qalifying Connections. We are also willing to baptise at no financial cost, everyone who approaches us after the mandatory baptism Preparation Course.
As we are present in times of joy and hapinness, so also are we when this is otherwise. We are here to support you during such times and to prepare and take the Funeral Services of loved ones and relatives.
Please do get in touch, come and worship with us as we seek to live our lives to the fullest in Christ.
