In December 2004 St Jude's Church and Englefield Green Methodist Church joined as St Jude's United Church in a Local Ecumenical Partnership. Almost all services are held in St Jude's, and the Methodist Church was in 2010 refurbished and opened as the Village Centre. There is a cafe open every weekday, halls and rooms available for hire, and it is used as a basis for a Child Contact Centre, Baby Basics and our Community Fridge. Many local groups use the building for their activities and charitable services.
The church was designed by the Surrey architect W H Seth-Smith and opened in 1904.
