is seeking to recruit a

Centre Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 based on experience

Hours: 40 hours per week

28 days statutory annual leave entitlement per year (including Public Holidays)

A probationary period of 3 months applies

The Centre Manager will be responsible for maintaining a place of acceptance and welcome for all the community, offering space available for hire and a drop-in café area.

Main Responsibilities

The Manager will work alongside other staff and volunteers, and the main tasks will be:

· To work with the Local Ecumenical Partnership at St Jude’s United Church, Englefield Green

· To be part of a visible Christian presence in the village

· To oversee the day-to-day running of the Centre including the hire of the premises

· Oversight and development of our main Outreach programmes

o Baby Basics

o Child Contact Centre

o Lunch Club

o Community fridge & Kitchen

o Community Foodbank

· To oversee and manage staff and volunteers

· To maintain adequate computer records associated with the running of the premises

· To maintain and update the Village Centre website and co-ordination of our social media channels

· To ensure financial responsibility of the Centre by having a strong understanding of the finances of the Centre and proceed with grant applications and fundraising opportunities as needed.
