Our no rehearsal Nativity service on Christmas Eve generated another bumper congregation at Dunsfold Church.

Judith Lahey-Bean and her team of helpers created a wonderful setting for the stars of the show - the children - to give of their best. As ever, the actors were supported by a boisterous congregation and this year we had a special young actor playing the baby Jesus. Our nativity star Ember was just 10 days old.

We also had Louis the pony, star of our pet service last September, treading the boards - or in this case the central aisle of church as he carried Mary to the stable.

The Crib Service appears to be growing in popularity year on year and provides the perfect setting for many families as they reunite for their Christmas get-togethers.
