St Mary and All Saints Church wants to be a strong, vibrant voice for God's inclusive love in our beautiful village and beyond. At this difficult time our work continues and flourishes online and via phone calls for the time being. Unfortunately, we face major financial challenges. We can not hold services which means we are unable to have collections. No weddings mean those wonderful, colourful summer celebrations won't be happening at our church and we face another major loss of income. All the while the church building still needs to be maintained and kept in the best possible condition for ours and future generations. Are you able to help? It costs £900 each week to keep our church open. And there are some pitfalls in having a building as old as our church. We must never fail to recognise the essential building work and repairs it requires. As a living and community-serving Church, we do know that people are facing difficulties. If you feel you simply cannot contribute financially that is understood. Some of you are helping already and we truly appreciate that. Giving is part of the way we can live a generous, Christian life. If you are able to review your donations or help us care for our parish church by making a donation, please make it to Dunsfold Church. See our bank details below. Ideally, we'd love you to join our planned giving scheme. Our treasurer John Gray will help you with this by setting up a monthly standing order. You can contact John by emailing him at treasurer@dunsfold.co.ukAnd please remember our church and the challenges in your prayers as we do daily for our wonderful village and community.Thank you. Everyone is delighted by the prospect of returning to church for worship in services from next Sunday, July 5.Our priest, Reverend Ian Maslin, and his team have worked diligently to meet all the criteria laid down to ensure Dunsfold Church is as safe as possible to visit. Our plan is for there to be a 10am Holy Communion service every Sunday through July and August. We will then review the situation and with our friends at St Peter's Church, Hascombe devise a new timetable for services going forward through the autumn into winter. Please understand our finest laid plans may be altered by requirements from the government or the Diocese of Guildford. But we will always endeavour to make you aware of any changes.
