The Revd Claire Jones, Assistant Curate in the Bodmin Team Ministry, in Truro diocese, noticed a fashion trend among women clergy at the beginning of the month: they were buying Marks & Spencer jumpers that spell out “Believe” on the front.
She asked for photos for a collage, and more than 400 women responded from at least seven denominations in the UK, Ireland, the US, and Australia. Some have progressed to videos, explaining what it is that they believe.
