Take a trip with Barbara Datson to Nepal this weekend. Barbara is our speaker at Cafe Church at 10am in the Winn Hall on Sunday. She is the founder of the ‘CHANCE for NEPAL’ charity, and is based near Cranleigh.
Barbara will be talking about her regular trips to Nepal and the support her charity gives to vulnerable and disadvantaged children there. Our own Roger Nash is a trustee of the charity Barbara launched and has made his own visits to the region with his wife Pamela. The patron of CHANCE for NEPAL is Dame Joanna Lumley.
The main purpose of CHANCE for Nepal is to work closely with established and trusted organisations, schools and hospitals in Nepal to guarantee aid and support to vulnerable and disadvantaged children in need and to offer health care, education and training opportunities.The charity has raised over £1m since 2006Please arrive early to partake of a simple breakfast and be part of a very special Cafe Church service.
