As a young child Ana Brookes and her sister Natasha made homemade strawberry jam and sold jars of it to raise money for the children at Rainbow House. Ana is now a Trustee with a lead on marketing and social media for the charity. She is also an undergraduate student in Advanced Applied Psychology at the University of Chichester.

The Brookes family has supported Rainbow House from its opening. Tanya Brookes, Ana's mother and our keyboard player at Cafe Church services, is the charity administrator.

The Rainbow House children's home was founded by Lynda Ferrin. She bought an acre of land in 2002 and the building of the home commenced. The doors opened for the first children in 2007 and there are now 55 residents at Rainbow House. 

The charity's website declares: "At Rainbow House we believe education is key to sustaining a strong future our children and the children from the surrounding community. All the children come from difficult backgrounds but Rainbow House has turned into a family for every child. 

"We want our children to have as many opportunities as possible. Therefore Rainbow House pay for school fees for a portion of the total number of children in the home. Finally, over 75% of the children who have passed through Rainbow House have moved into advanced employment."
