Small Groups
Who belongs to the groups?
A good number of our congregation attend a Small Group which meets during the week. Three of them meet in people’s homes, the Thursday and Friday groups meet on site at church.
The groups offer a chance to grow in faith and in the knowledge of the Bible, to get to know each other better, to pray for all sorts of people and things, that we can serve God, the church and the world better. And on route we share friendship and laughter too!
We follow a variety of programmes, and from time to time follow the same course for example often in Lent. The leaders meet together every few months, and a joint Christmas social for members has been enjoyed in the past.
Meeting Point
On the first Thursday of each month from 10am to 11.30am. All welcome – a great place to meet up, enjoy some refreshments and to which we can invite our friends!

Farnborough Foodbank
What is Farnborough Foodbank?
Farnborough Foodbank is part of a national network of food banks, giving out nutritionally balanced emergency food to people in crisis.
How does it work?
Food is donated by the General Public (see list of food below).
We partner with front-line care professionals who identify people in crisis and give them a voucher.
The voucher is taken to St Christopher’s Church at Cove on either Monday, Wednesday and Friday (excepting Bank Holidays) from 12:00 noon to 2:30pm, where people will receive a warm drink and enough food for three days.
The Foodbank will also put people in touch with agencies who can help resolve the underlying causes of their crisis.
On occasions, The Foodbank will take food-packs to those people who are unable, through special circumstances, to access the food-centre during its opening hours.
There is a sound desk and data projector
The church and rooms can be hired by groups (subject to suitability and insurance requirements) if available. Please contact the parish office on 01252 371804
