Lucy White, the new Head of Operations, will be talking about the work of Skillway with young people who are finding it difficult to succeed within the academic confines of school.

Skillway aims to motivate and build confidence by teaching them practical skills allied to trades and to nurture their personal potential, sometimes for the first time.

They aim to work in harmony with a student's current education to achieve a feeling of success and an ability to achieve in a low pressure nurturing environment.

A relaxed, friendly and popular service following the 1662 Book of Common Prayer with hymns led from our dedicated organist team. Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st and 3rd Sundays and the other times are Morning Prayer. Psalms and canticles are said or sung by the congregation. The service is led by clergy and LLMs, all of whom robe for both Morning Prayer and Communion.

A structured service following Common Worship, including well-known hymns, and space for listening and reflecting.

With Communion 1st Sunday of the month.

There is no need to sign up, just come along and join us to worship at Brighton Road - Busbridge Church.

An informal service of contemporary worship led by a worship group and making creative use of modern media.
The Contemporary congregation celebrates Holy Communion on 2nd Sundays of the month.

There are children's groups for 2-11s running at the same time.

The SIX will be a refreshed service, still contemporary and charismatic, but now with particular vision to reach youth and young adults.
People of any age will be welcome!

Drop in for a coffee or cup of tea on Mondays at the Yew Tree Café where a member of the Prime Time team will be looking forward to welcome you, and other members and friends will be there to chat. A lovely start to the week.

Our ABC toddler groups are co-ordinated by the church for the community and surrounding area. Each group is run by our 0-3s worker, Sophia Barnes - with some enthusiastic parents!

We hope you will find the groups relaxing, enjoyable and a lovely way to start new friendships and find support as you share your experience of bringing up a young family. Come and have a cup of coffee while your children play and get to know other children in a happy environment.

Our annual Memorial Service this year is on Saturday 10th October, and Margot Spencer and the bereavement team invite anyone who has been bereaved, whether recently or some time ago, to this special service.

The service usually lasts for about 45 minutes, after which there will be an opportunity to linger in church for a cup of tea. There is no need to hurry away and all are welcome to stay.

Remembering people by name is an important part of the service, so please be sure to sign up below and fill in the name(s) of those you would like us to remember.

To help with our catering arrangements and compiling the list of names to be remembered, we should be grateful to have the information as soon as possible, please and by Tuesday 6 October at the latest.

However, if you are undecided now, but decide to come at the last minute, that is absolutely fine and we shall be delighted to see you on the day.

you can feel safe to talk about how the pain of bereavement is affecting you
you will meet others who have experienced their own loss
there is a team willing to offer support by listening
you will find mutual support and encouragement

Join us for a fun Halloween alternative for children in school years R to 6 (ages 4 to 11) on Friday 31st October from 4pm to 5.30pm at Busbridge Church, Brighton Road. £5 per child, payment by card now or offline (please do get in touch if the cost is an issue as we don't want it to prevent anyone from coming).
