Holy Communion Service

Occuring
Every Sunday at for 45 mins
Venue
Holy Trinity, Bramley
Address
High Street Bramley Guildford, GU5 0HD, United Kingdom

Our main service on Sundays is at 9.45am is a sung Eucharist using Common Worship. It is proposed that this will change to 9.30am from July onwards to allow the celebrant time to reach Grafham for their 11am service.

There are additional seasonal services and variations. There is a Eucharistic focus to the service and the clergy usually wear vestments.

At Holy Trinity, most hymns are from the Complete Anglican Hymns Old and New, and we use the David Thorne Trinity Mass setting. The style is traditional, with the organ used to accompany the singing, and the piano is often used during Communion when the choir sings a simple anthem. We have a paid Director of Music who is also the Organist. The choir, which has between five and eight members, sings an anthem and rehearses once a week. A few girls from St. Catherine’s join the choir during term-time.

Children (with a parent/carer) are welcome to go to the Children's Chapel during services and play with the toys and books there.

This service is followed by coffee in our church room or by our monthly parish lunch.
