Our main Sunday service, supported by the Choir, using Common Worship
A said service of Holy Communion takes place every Wednesday at 10.00am, and everyone is welcome. Ths is a quiet but friendly service, lasting about 30-35 minutes.
This time of silence, readings and prayer is an opportunity to focus our prayers on the peace of the world, led by our Lay Minister George. Come for the whole half-hour or just a few minutes.
The 8.00am Service of Holy Communion is now back, and you are all welcome. At first, however, this will be only on the first two Sundays of the month, using the Book of Common Prayer on the first Sunday and Common Worship on the second. This is a short service, with no hymns, but quiet and prayerful.
On Sunday 1st December at 6.30pm come and welcome the Advent season with carols and readings.
In our quiet prayer area by the stand for the candles you will find a Tree of Light. You are welcome to write your prayer on one of the 'leaves' you will find nearby and hang it on the tree. You may also wish to light a candle.
On the first Friday of each month the prayers from the Tree are offered to God in a short service in the Lady Chapel which everyone is welcome to join.
Join us and our sister Churches on 14th December at 12.00 noon to sing carols round a bonfire in the Church Orchard. Come and go as you like, but do join in.
Varied songs to revive the memories and lift the spirits - 3rd Wednesday of the month at 11.00am.
On 21st December at 3.00pm we are offering a quiet and peaceful service for those who find it hard to celebrate at Christmas.
Join us for this beautiful traditional service, led by the choir, of music and readings for Christmas
This is a child-friendly service at 4.30pm (with dressing-up), telling the Nativity story in a relaxed way.
At 11.00pm on Christmas Eve we celebrate the first Eucharist of Christmas in a holy and beautiful service, supported by the choir.
