Corpus Christi is the day we give thanks for the blessing of Holy Communion. Our service will be at 7.30pm, and will be a sung service of Communion with incense, ending with the Blessing of the Village. Everyone is welcome.
We held our Annual Meetings on 26th April at 11.00 in the church. Anne Anthony and Tina Douglas were again elected as Churchwardens, and the PCC welcomed six new members on the retirement of some long-serving members.
Many of our memorials reflect in miniature the expansion of Britain overseas, including involvement in trades that we now recognise to be exploitative. So we produced a short, accessible booklet to tell some of the stories lying behind them.
