From 30th August we plan to hold services in the contemplative style of Taizé at 4.00pm on the 5th Sunday of the month, i.e. about three or four times a year.
We shall learn more about prayer in weekly sessions in the church from 7.00pm-8.00pm on Thursdays in July and August. We'll end with a service of Compline. Everyone is welcome - no expertise needed!
Many of our memorials reflect in miniature the expansion of Britain overseas, including involvement in trades that we now recognise to be exploitative. So we produced a short, accessible booklet to tell some of the stories lying behind them.
