St Matthew’s at the Elephant was built in 1993 and Princess Diana opened our community centre on 10 December 1993. We have been deeply involved in the vibrant community around Elephant and Castle since then. The Revd Dr Hugo Adán is our parish priest and since the 10th of July we are the first fully bilingual parish in the Church of England as we are the home of the Hispanic Anglican Mission.
