Ash Vale: St Mary

St Mary's is a small but friendly church.  "Roots down (into the Gospel)... Walls down (into the community)" is our vision. We are very much part of our community.

We have regular Sunday services with Sunday School at 10:30am, and host groups and events during the week.

Tuesdays 10:00 - 11:30am "Little Lambs Library" (baby & toddler group) in term time only

Tuesdays 20:00-21:00 Choir (all welcome come along and sing!)

Fridays 10:00-13:00 Community Cafe (Warm Welcome Venue) free cuppa and snacks, lunch served at 12:00, all welcome! The doors are open for anyone of all faiths and none, just pop in for a cuppa and a chat. (We are a registered warm space, so you can also ask us about food bank referrals, cost of living support information and fuel vouchers.)

The parish of Ash Vale is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Guildford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services. (If you wish to contact the safeguarding officer at St Mary's church in Ash Vale the email address is [email protected])
