The pilgrimage walk goes from Carlisle to Lindisfarne and crosses our area on Tuesday 15th April as the pilgrims walk from Wark to West Woodburn (lunch at Corsenside village hall) and then on to Elsdon (dinner and accommodation in Elsdon village hall). Celebrated on the first Friday of March each year, the World Day of Prayer (WDP) is celebrated in services in over 170 countries across the world on the first Friday of March, this year on 7th March. The Cook Islands will be our focus of prayer and understanding and the theme is “I Made You Wonderful” (Psalm 139:14) The World Day of Prayer service will be held at St. Cuthbert’s Bellingham on 7th March at 7pm. Refreshments will be served afterwards. Please do come along to pray and learn together about the Cook Islands.
