Glorious Dust - Real Humanity in Light of the Cross

We live in a time of unprecedented confusion about the value and purpose of human life, gender and relationships. How does the cross of Jesus Christ reveal and redeem what it means to be truly human?

This third session engages with the topic True Friendship in an age of isolating self-obsession.

We tend to think freedom and flourishing comes when pursuing my own dreams and ambitions ("You do you! Don't let anyone or anything get in the way"). Yet a purely self-obsessed life leaves us stressed, burnt out and usually isolated amidst the infinite ocean of social media 'connections'. What does true friendship even look like in the modern world? Do we have to choose between self-fulfilment and community?

Join us for an evening of honest conversation, teaching and reflection from the Christian tradition. All are welcome!
