Glorious Dust - Real Humanity in Light of the Cross

We live in a time of unprecedented confusion about the value and purpose of human life, gender and relationships. How does the cross of Jesus Christ reveal and redeem what it means to be truly human?

This first session focuses on the theme of Creaturely Dignity in an age of self-destruction.

What defines the value of a human life? Can we truly say that all human beings are infinitely precious, regardless of age, disability or economic 'usefulness' to society? Does terrible suffering make life not worth living? Debates around assisted suicide has brought these questions into sharp focus with uncomfortable implications on all sides – but these touch on far deeper questions of anthropology. How can we help one another and those we love think wisely and compassionately about sensitive matters such as this?

Join us for an evening of honest conversation, teaching and reflection from the Christian tradition. All are welcome!
