A good Victorian rebuild - there has been a church on this site since 13th Century.
Rothbury is a pretty village about 12 miles South West of Alnwick and 15 miles North West of Morpeth.
17th-century font stands on a pillar of part of a carved stone 9th-century Saxon Market Cross - very early depiction of the Ascension.
Full active ring of 8 bells.
Holy Communion every Sunday (CW) at 10.15 am and Wednesday at 9.30 am, Christmas Midnight Mass at 11.30 pm and Christmas Day at 10.15 am, Evensong (BCP) every Sunday except the last, at 6.30 pm.
Holy Week, Holy Communion and meditation at 11.30 am on Monday, Tueday and Wednesday, Maundy Thursday at 6.30 pm, Good Friday liturgy at 2 pm, Holy Saturday, Easter Vigil at 8 pm, Easter Day Songs of Praise at 6.30 pm.
