Irstead: St Michael's
St Michael's is one of the six churches of the Benefice of St Benedict. Links to information about the other five churches can be found by following the More Information link at the side of the page and this is the Mission Statement for the Benefice.
This Broadland church is of great character and charm, situated in the hamlet of Irstead,150m from public moorings on the River Ant just below Barton Broad on the Norfolk Broads. We are a small congregation and look forward to welcoming you to our services. The church is now decorated for Christmas with beautiful floral arrangements.

Please note our Christmas Day Service will now take place at 11am, not 9.30am as previously advertised.

Ashmanhaugh, St Swithin's
Welcome to St Swithun's Church, Ashmanhaugh
With immediate effect, our churches will now be open daily, at their traditional opening times, for visits, individual private prayer, and of course for the advertised services.
Whilst legal restrictions have been relaxed, please help to control the Coronavirus by continuing to follow government guidelines. In particular when visiting any of our churches, while the infection rate remains high:
· Please check-in using the QR code poster with the NHS App
· Please clean your hands with the hand-gel provided, both when you enter the church, and when you leave.
· Please wear your face mask during services, if requested at busy times,
to be considerate to others who may still be vulnerable, even if you and they are fully vaccinated.· Please respect those who wish to continue to observe social distancing guidelines.
Please see our web pages here, and also our notice boards, for details of the regular services, which have now resumed. For added safety, our more well-attended services will take place outside over the summer months, weather-permitting, so that we can sing without increasing any infection risk. Services in-church will continue to have more limited musical content for the time being.
