Our evening services re-start on 12th November. The upcoming services for 2023 are as follows:

12th Nov at 6pm - Jazz Mass (Nidarus Jazz Mass by Bob Chilcott)

19th Nov at 6pm - Compline by Candlelight (Night prayer with choir and flute)

26th Nov at 6pm - Choral Evensong (With the choir, during which our theme for Advent will be introduced)

3rd Dec at 6pm - Advent Carols (Music and hymns exploring the advent theme of ‘voices in the wilderness’ with St John's choir and orchestra, followed by a mulled wine and mince pie reception

17 Dec at 6pm - - Nine Lessons & Carols (A Traditional candlelit service of lessons and carols followed by fizz and panettone).

St John's Hyde Park

St John's Hyde Park is an inclusive, dynamic community of faith, rooted in a broad Anglican tradition. Our community reflects London’s rich diversity. People from many countries make up our Sunday congregation, and we also enjoy welcoming visitors staying in the local hotels around Paddington station. To celebrate this diversity, one of our traditions is that we all say the Lord’s Prayer in our own mother tongue. Our approach to hospitality and inclusivity is founded in the teaching of Jesus.
