St John's Hyde Park is an inclusive, dynamic community of faith, rooted in a broad Anglican tradition. Our community reflects London’s rich diversity. People from many countries make up our Sunday congregation, and we also enjoy welcoming visitors staying in the local hotels around Paddington station. To celebrate this diversity, one of our traditions is that we all say the Lord’s Prayer in our own mother tongue. Our approach to hospitality and inclusivity is founded in the teaching of Jesus.

Our evening services re-start on 10th November. The upcoming services for 2024 are as follows:

10th Nov at 6pm - Compline - A Service of Night Prayer.

17th Nov at 6pm - Choral Evensong - A joint service with the chamber choir of Queen’s College London

24th Nov at 6pm - Jazz Mass with the choir & ensemble.

1st Dec at 6pm - Advent Carols Music and hymns exploring the Advent theme of ‘Heaven & Earth Collide: An Advent Odyssey with St John's choir and orchestra, followed by a mulled wine and mince pie reception.

8th Dec at 6pm - Christingle Service- Our annual Christingle Service, with Choir.

22nd Dec at 6pm -- Nine Lessons & Carols (A Traditional candlelit service of lessons and carols followed by fizz and panettone).
