About Us

Standing on The Highway since 1729, St George-in-the-East has a lively and growing congregation following Jesus Christ today.  Whatever your race, background or age, there is a place here for you.

Join us on Sundays at 9:30am and 10.30am. Around a quarter of our congregation are under sixteen, and a pioneering community of young Christians is now living in our Rectory, worshipping with us, and working for social transformation.

Alternatively, come to one of our weekday services or simply visit the church to pray.
