The evening of Friday 24th May was a long awaited service- when we would no longer be in a period of vacancy. Many thanks to all those who came to support Fr Sean and the congregation of St. Alban The Martyr.
Fr. Sean Gilbert will be Instituted and Inducted as Vicar of St. Alban The Martyr by The Bishop of Southwark, the Rt Rev'd Christopher Chessun, assisted by the Archdeacon of Croydon, The Venerable Chris Skilton. The Bishop of Fulham, the Rt Rev'd Jonathan Baker, will preach and celebrate. The service starts at 8pm. The churchwardens and PCC would like to thank ALL the priests who have taken services during the vacancy.
St Alban's will be hosting a Quiet Day led by Fr Tim Pike CMP looking at Icons of Easter.The Stations of the Cross will take place at 12noon and Benediction at 2. 20pm . All are welcome.email: albanse25@gmail.com for more information and to book your place.
