Safeguarding in our Benefice

Safeguarding is very important to us all in the benefice and the safety and well being of everyone is essential.
The parish of Cam: St George and the parish of Stinchcombe: St Cyr are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.
We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO), Mrs Sara Smout.

For any safeguarding matters in our churches please do contact Sara: Mrs Sara Smout, 07856 581018

Please see the buttons at the bottom of this section to view our current Safeguarding policy documents.

The Diocese of Gloucester’s Safeguarding Team pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA.
