You are welcome to join us in the traditional service of Choral Evensong, sung by our robed SATB choir. We were not able to sing the service during the pandemic until now, and we are delighted to be able to do so again. The service is based on the Book of Common Prayer with sung psalms, hymns, canticles, responses and prayers, introit and anthem, plus two Bible readings (not sung...). Every second Sunday of the the month, except December and August, beginning at 6.30 pm. Come and join us in our magnificent 14th century church with superb acoustics for this traditional service.
St Andrew's Church Sutton has had an monthly indoor market for many years but, of course, it stopped in March 2020, as many other things did. But it's back again, on the first Saturday of the month (except Jan and Aug) 11 am to 2 pm, with lots of stalls and the cafe. Come along and have a chat with friends over a cup of tea or coffee and a cake or bacon buttie. Light lunches also served. And enjoy looking around the stalls and finding something that you have been looking for for ages, or a book or homemade cakes and jams. And it helps support St Andrew's Church in Sutton financially too.
