Celebrated on the first Friday of March each year, the World Day of Prayer (WDP) is celebrated in services in over 170 countries across the world on the first Friday of March, this year on 7th March. The Cook Islands will be our focus of prayer and understanding and the theme is “I Made You Wonderful” (Psalm 139:14) The World Day of Prayer service will be held at St. Cuthbert’s Bellingham on 7th March at 7pm. Refreshments will be served afterwards. Please do come along to pray and learn together about the Cook Islands.
We are excited to announce that our new electrical heating system has been installed. We are very grateful for grants from the Ray Wind Fund, Northumbria Historic Churches Trust, the Benefact Trust and the Barbour Foundation which have enabled us to start this work as planned. The church is now open for Sunday services and for visitors during the week.
