Chard St Mary's

Welcome to our page, we hope it is helpful for you, and we look forward to seeing you should you be able to join us for worship. There will be a warm welcome awaiting you.

The Church has been here since C10 and probably before that, we are set in what was the Old Town part of Chard. The Churchyard is a restful place too where we are rewilding some parts. We welcome anyone to visit and take a moment to reflect, pray, or chat as feels right for you.

Safeguarding

"The parish of Chard: St Mary is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Bath & Wells safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
