Luncheon Club

The Luncheon Club  is run to provide a two course lunch to retired and elderly residents of Weston on a weekly basis. The club is held on a Wednesday lunch time from 12 noon until 1.00 pm during school term time.

The cost of the meal is currently £2.50, this covers the cost food and preparation. The cost for the hire of the Village Hall reading room (approx £600 a year) is met by grants from the PCC and the Parish Council.

The team of helpers consists of cooks (2 per meal), helpers (who setup, serve the meal, wash up and clear away) and drivers  (who pick up return the infirm residents to their homes).
